00:00DepEd Cordillera has already laid out several alternative ways to ensure the continuity of learning of students who will attend the next class suspension in the area.
00:11According to the current government, there are already 35 class disruptions in the region this school year.
00:18The details are reported by Debbie Gacinan of PIA Cordillera.
00:24DepEd Cordillera gathered parents who are supportive of any learning modalities that will be implemented by the agency
00:33in order to fill in the days that the learners did not attend because of the next class suspensions,
00:39followed by the next storm.
00:42According to Regional Director Stella Cariño, this is considered a learning loss that should only be filled.
00:48We are trying to look into different ways by which we will be able to address this learning loss and hopefully this will be supported.
00:58Among the possible implementations in the region is the cancellation of the mid-year break so that make-up classes can be held,
01:05Saturday classes will be held, and the extension of the class hours.
01:10Cordillera is also among those who will implement the Dynamic Learning Program to ensure learning continuity.
01:17I hope DepEd will be able to implement different learning modalities so that the students can catch up.
01:28DepEd CAR called on the learners not to be happy with the class suspension
01:34because they have already noticed how they can still study using self-learning modules and textbooks if there is a class suspension.
