00:06Tropical Storm Manny continues to intensify as it approaches the land.

00:11The last storm to pass was 1,375 kilometers east of northeastern Mindanao.

00:18The strong winds reached 85 kilometers per hour and the hail reached 996 kilometers per hour.

00:27If it enters the Philippine Area of Responsibility, it will be called the Pepito Storm.

00:33According to the forecast, the Pepito Storm may landfall in the east of southern Luzon this weekend.

00:42Several dams in Luzon are being closely monitored because of the upcoming Pepito Storm.

00:48According to a hydrologist Richard Orendain,

00:52several dams in Central Luzon and Metro Manila may flood due to the heavy rain caused by the storm.

01:00For now, the Magat Dam, which is located at 188.6 or 56 meters,

01:08is being targeted and the areas near the dams are being alerted.

01:14President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. received more than P42 million pesos in aid

01:21to farmers and fishermen who were affected by the Tropical Storm Christine and Leon in Cavite.

01:27More than 4,002 beneficiaries received assistance in the province.

01:34Each beneficiary was given P10,000 cash assistance.

01:39In addition, the DSWD, DOLE, and other agencies also provided assistance.
