00:28The loophole leaders in the EO-74, which prohibits the operation of illegal POGOs, were confused.
00:35Our President misled the loophole leaders in Executive Order No. 74, which prohibits the operation of Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators or POGOs.
00:45Our President also said that POGOs are really banned and that they cannot operate using the same license.
00:53Our President also added that the nature or type of operation is prohibited and not because it is under PAGCOR or not.
01:03Our President said that POGOs are prohibited.
01:07He said that there is no need for another law to prohibit POGOs because this Executive Order is enough.
01:15If we can remember, the President mentioned this in his directive to ban all POGOs in his previous State of the Nation Address or SONA.
01:24And this was just passed on November 5 and this EO-74 was issued.
01:29And it was included in the Executive Order that there are technical working groups for employment recovery and reintegration
01:35to address the impact of this ban on the affected sectors of our economy and ensure the reintegration of displaced workers.
01:43There is also a TWG on Anti-Illegal Offshore Gaming Operations to strengthen the crackdown on illegal POGOs that are led by people.
01:51There is also a directive to the affected National Government Agencies and the support of LGUs and the private sector.
01:59And because of that, there is a need for the assistance of the people.
