00:08A linkage President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is all too eager and to build on with America's 50th state

00:21In his meeting with the delegates of the Pacific Century Fellow Group from Hawaii,

00:27the President was upbeat in conveying his shared sentiment on boosting existing ties between the Philippines and the Aloha State.

00:35The group's founder, Mufi Haniman, a former mayor of Honolulu, is an active proponent of tourism

00:41and works hard to find ways to boost the industry.

00:45He also is a staunch supporter of the Filipino community and has time and again hired and appointed Filipinos to his staff.
