00:00The Central Bank of the Philippines has confirmed that it is targeting the digital wallet application, Gcash, that happened this weekend.

00:08While some congressmen say that it is a target to be investigated by the camera.

00:17The camera is investigating the unauthorized transactions and financial losses in the digital wallet application, Gcash, this weekend.

00:27In social media, there are complaints about this from netizens.

00:32They suddenly lost thousands of pesos in the mobile app even though they are not moving the digital wallet.

00:39In the House Resolution No. 2068,

00:42Gabriela Partylist Rep. Arlene Brosas, Teachers Partylist Rep. Franz Castro, and Kabataan Partylist Rep. Raul Manuel,

00:51they are pushing the issue to be investigated by some committees in the camera in aid of legislation.

00:58Even though Gcash is already investigating what happened and this is just a system error,

01:03they need to investigate the matter to make sure that this will not happen again.

01:09Black lawmakers also want to see the implementation of the SIM Card Registration Act.

01:16The Central Bank of the Philippines is also involved in the issue.

01:20In the statement of the BSP, they have already sued G-Exchange Incorporated,

01:25which is the operator of Gcash E-Wallet, to immediately resolve the problem.
