00:00It's time to finish out our breakdown and preview of the Monday night finale for week

00:07number 10 of this 2024 NFL season live right here on this Monday on the early line.

00:18The Rams a two and a half point home favorite against the Miami Dolphins over under stands

00:23at 48 and a half.

00:25Let's just start with the game itself, its impact and importance tonight.

00:30The Rams a slight home favorite, less than three.

00:33The Dolphins in underdog once again with Mike McDaniel as the skipper, only seven and 11

00:40against the spread since he became the head man in South Florida starting in 2022.

00:45Only three outright wins and although, ah, look at that prime time DRS right now for

00:54this game.

00:55The time was setting up.

00:56I believe what he was trying to tell us here is the Miami Dolphins in the Los Angeles Rams

00:59going to be a good game tonight.

01:00It's a two and a half point line.

01:02But if we're looking at this game optimistically, it really points toward the Rams for me.

01:06If you're looking at the Rams set up tonight as the two and a half point favorite, they're

01:09the better team.

01:10They're the team that still has some playoff hopes here and the Miami Dolphins sort of

01:13careening off the road.

01:14Then the tough part tonight for me, honestly, is the fact that Tyreek Hill didn't practice

01:17all week.

01:18I don't think he's playing coy tonight saying, oh, I just didn't practice and my wrist is

01:22going to be a hundred percent healthy because as we talked to Tom, there's a difference

01:27between getting a handoff in the back and protecting yourself and trying to catch a

01:30laser beam away from you 20 yards away and then getting tackled and bracing yourself

01:35on the turf here.

01:36I'm worried about that Miami Dolphins offensive explosion.

01:39If Tyreek Hill can't be the player that we think he can be here tonight.

01:43Absolutely.

01:44So DRS and he was that leading receiver for Tua and the Finns last week in Buffalo yet

01:48to find pay dirt since week number one of this season or in any of course of the two

01:54games since Tunga Bailoa's return and Donnie for the odds makers here on FanDuel not to

02:00have the odds out yet for the wide receiver positions is a little bit concerning because

02:05of course the impact of Hill's either availability or absence that impacts what Jalen Waddell

02:11is going to be able to do.

02:13Jono Smith has been a consistent really for any quarterback this year for Miami.

02:17I would keep an eye on his numbers.

02:20But again the Dolphins of course the story of the season has been the head injury to

02:25Tua Tunga Bailoa and his murky future at times in his football career and in 2024 and because

02:32of that Miami is two and six.

02:34They have not looked great.

02:35They have looked better with Tua Tunga Bailoa back but they are in such a hole and again

02:40Donnie for the Dolphins losing this game by two or one in covering means nothing.

02:46Losing this game by three means nothing.

02:49It's an outright win that Miami is desperate for.

02:53Only three outright victories in the 18 games now as an underdog with Mike McDaniel.

02:59Meanwhile for the Rams their season has been resurrected.

03:02Two wins in a five day span.

03:04They backed that up with the extended mini bye last week on Sunday going into Seattle

03:09and holding on in overtime to knock off the Seahawks.

03:13You heard from Dr. Chow although there are still some injuries to pay attention to for

03:18L.A.

03:19Their Delta where they are trending is so much more positive now than it was in the

03:23opening month of this season and frankly Donnie that's why I believe the Rams are the right

03:28side in the correctly favored side of only two and a half.

03:31And also like Tyreek Hill being injured and not at 100 percent is a massive deal.

03:36So then we usually say that hey Jalen Waddell is a sensational wide out in first round draft

03:39pick gets a ton of money has that explosive ability.

03:42Did you see his last three games Colts game one for 11 cardless game four for 45 last

03:47week against the Bills two catches minus four yards like this isn't what we've expected

03:51here.

03:52Is he able to just step in and be that number one if Tyreek Hill can't do that and maybe

03:55buying a lower price.

03:56I'm not so sure that so I got a lot of information I need to dissect this afternoon which a lot

04:01of it does deal with is Tyreek Hill playing or not and the effect on this which might

04:04come down to just the pregame and said hey Tyreek's running his routes.

04:08He's catching the football fine.

04:09If I see that I'm probably going to be back in on Tyreek Hill and you know what touchdown

04:12props over his yardage.

04:14But that's going to be tricky.

04:15Are they going to do one of those like a Ben Roethlisberger in the playoffs like a decade

04:18ago against the Broncos.

04:19He hasn't thrown all week he didn't throw him pregame only to uncork bombs right away

04:24I think we might be playing a little bit coy here on Tyreek Hill.

04:28That's what I'm trying to decipher today but I'm not just immediately going the water like

04:32oh he's been producing he has it.
