00:00Cap, I want to ask you about the Dallas Cowboys, who are always in the news, but this season

00:10it's rarely been for the reasons that you want.

00:13The combination of Dak Prescott potentially being shut down while trading for Jonathan

00:18Mingo on Tuesday, what are you hearing around the Dallas Cowboys?

00:23All right, so here's why they trade for Mingo.

00:25Mingo's got, past this season, two years left on his contract.

00:30This guy was drafted, talking to the Panthers, to be their X receiver, that's, it's typically

00:35the guy who's your number one receiver, right?

00:37It didn't work out.

00:38He's one of these guys that say body beautiful, but doesn't play up to it.

00:41So Dan Morgan, the GM of the Panthers, he was looking to move him, that was the word

00:45around the league, so he moved him, and he's going to get a chance here.

00:48Because remember, with the Cowboys, Brandon Cooks remains on IR after his knee surgery.

00:52Stevie Lamb's going to play with his sprained shoulder.

00:55This is a good chance to sort of see what Jonathan Mingo has the rest of the season.

00:58It didn't really cost him very much.

01:00Death was an issue for them, and really, when you look at it, it's a guy's got talent.

01:04He was a second-round pick, and this is a guy that someone needs to develop, it's going

01:08to be the Cowboys.

01:09And Cooper Rush today, by the way, for him as a starter, his one loss, it was terrible

01:14against the Eagles two years ago, where he threw three picks, two to C.J.

01:18Gardner-Johnson, and one to Darius Slay.

01:20So both are still with the Eagles, and that does not bode well.

01:23By the way, today for the Eagles, all 53 players on their roster are going to be available.

01:28So they're getting Dallas Goddard back today, and Darius Slay.

01:31Big-time matchup on Thursday night between Washington and Philadelphia coming up.

01:35But I also want to take a look at another NFC team here.

01:37We talk about injuries.

01:38How about guys coming back from injuries?

01:40Christian McCaffrey of the San Francisco 49ers activated and will play today.

01:44What's the prognosis for him, Cat, moving forward?

01:46Do they expect a full go for him today?

01:48Yeah, I'm not expecting, you know.

01:50One thing, Donnie, Kyle Shanahan, just like his dad, Mike, he doesn't really believe in

01:55limiting his main acts.

01:56He looked really good in practice, I was told, the last two weeks.

02:00He worked out for them last week during their buy, and they're like, okay, he's ready to

02:04go, and he had a great week of practice.

02:05Now, is he going to get every touch?

02:07No.

02:08They've got Isaac Garendo, the outstanding rookie from Louisville, who did a good job

02:12filling in a couple weeks ago, and obviously Jordan Mason has been a revelation as an undirected

02:16free agent.

02:17But I expect a big game from him.

02:19No question about it.

02:20I expect McCaffrey to have a solid game today.

02:23Not only in the run game, though, guys, in the pass game, that's kind of where they've

02:26missed him.

02:27They don't really throw to the backs of that McCaffrey, so that'll be back today.

02:30There's no question about it.

02:31And for the Bucs, look, guys, they're secondary struggling.

02:34Give Baker Mayfield credit also on offense, despite the problems at receiver with two

02:38studs down.

02:39He's gotten a job done.

02:40They really should have beaten the Chiefs.

02:41They dominated for three quarters last week.

02:43It's a shame.

02:44Kyle, quickly, before we get you out of here, the Giants right now, and they just got a

02:47turnover.

02:48So maybe they'll kind of salvage this game here against Carolina.

02:50But could you see a loss being the final game that Daniel Jones starts in a Giants uniform?

02:56Not yet, because here's the thing, and I know where you're going, because you've had your

02:59issues with Daniel Jones, Kevin, as we've talked about in the last two or three years.

03:04Drew Locke is a, he's not a developmental quarterback, and we know who Tommy DeVito

03:08is.

03:09Yes, they're out of the playoff race, we know this.

03:12But at some point, yes, I do expect to see Drew Locke, but to say he's not going to play

03:16again, Daniel Jones, no, I don't see it that way.

03:18By the way, they're a little bit more competitive today than probably most people thought.
