Doncaster MP celebrates launch of new bus service

00:00So one of the many things that you told me about that was really, really important to

00:06you was frequent reliable bus services. My mum reminds me of the importance of that

00:10all the time as well. And tonight I'm on the 359 service, the first to leave Donny

00:18Interchange and go to the Isle of Axon to Epworth Leisure Centre or the Livewell Leisure

00:24Centre as it is now. And it really connects for the first time on a Thursday, Friday and

00:30a Saturday night, Doncaster and the Isle of Axon. So we go, you know, along Vulture Road

00:37to Canby, we turn off down Morning Tongue Lane and then ultimately we go through places

00:42like Haxey and Westwoodside before we finish in Epworth. I couldn't be more excited about

00:48this new service and I really, really hope that many people come out to start to use

00:52it. That's it from door to door. It took about an hour. So here I am in Epworth now

01:01at the Leisure Centre and my journey has finished.
