00:19The debut season of this much-talked-about anime has plenty of hype moments, yet fans

00:24of the webtoon kept new ones wondering by referencing the same word, Arise.

00:30In the finale, Jin'ou faces an army of knights summoned by mages.

00:41After a tough battle and gaining the system a little, Jin'ou is given the opportunity

00:46to become a necromancer.

00:48He's not thrilled at first, but after reflecting on his battle, he realizes the advantages.

00:54As the newly-minted Shadow Monarch, he revives the foes he previously fought with the phrase

01:00Arise.

01:03The glow of the shadow soldiers and the glow in Jin'ou's eyes is probably reflected

01:08in our own.

01:09This is just impossibly cool.

01:14Number 9.

01:15Muzan and Kaguya meet face-to-face.

01:18Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba.

01:20The confrontation between the original demon and the Demon Slayer Corps' leader was always

01:25going to be epic, but we didn't know just how much until it happened.

01:30Muzan arrives at the Ubuyoshiki compound to find it unguarded.

01:41The ever-stylish demon has a conversation with Kaguya, head of the family, that has

01:45pursued him for 1,000 years.

01:48The sickly leader's every word is riveting, as he reveals their relation to Muzan as well

01:54as his musings on eternity, and why Muzan will never be victorious.

02:04Most shocking of all, though, is when Kaguya triggers a massive explosion, sacrificing

02:08he and his family's lives to strike a devastating blow against Muzan.

02:13From start to finish, this scene never lets up with its animation or stakes.

02:22Number 8.

02:23Sukuna confronts Mahoraga.

02:25Jujutsu Kaisen.

02:27There are hints that Megumi's final shikigami is dangerous, yet when the sorcerer unleashes

02:32the uncontrollable familiar, no one is prepared for the havoc that ensues.

02:37Thankfully, Mahoraga's opponent turns out to be Sukuna, while he's briefly in control

02:42of Yuji's body.

02:47Sukuna's infinite slashes are matched by Mahoraga's boundless ability to adapt.

02:52Their clash is so colossal, it devastates most of Shibuya.

02:56Well, the parts of it that are left after Sukuna's last fight, anyway.

03:04The animation is frantic and at times hard to follow throughout, yet we can't look away.

03:10It's only by using his domain expansion and a flaming arrow that the shikigami is finally

03:16destroyed.

03:22Number 7.

03:23Battle of father and son, Baki Hanma.

03:26For much of the Baki franchise, the eponymous young fighter has one goal – surpass his

03:31overwhelmingly powerful father.

03:34And when a fight breaks out over dinner between Baki and the world's strongest creature, it

03:38does not disappoint.

03:43Baki and Yujiro's battle is one part familial spat, another part brawl, and full of the

03:48utter insanity that characterizes most of the franchise.

03:52Baki pulls out wild move after wild move, which includes imitating dinosaurs and cockroaches,

03:58while Yujiro treats his son like nunchucks.

04:07And all the while, the whole world, including a caveman and a ghost, are witness to their

04:11impromptu match.

04:13The fight is simultaneously Baki at its most epic, heartwarming, and bizarre.

04:24Number 6.

04:25Made in Heaven.

04:26JoJo's bizarre adventure, Stone Ocean.

04:29If there's one thing that JoJo fans love to do, besides make memes, it's hype up JoJo.

04:35One thing that was consistently mentioned online prior to Stone Ocean was the stand

04:40of Enrico Pucci, Made in Heaven.

04:47And the plan concocted by the priest, and the late Dio, does not disappoint.

04:53Made in Heaven's time-acceleration powers allow Pucci and every non-living thing to

04:57move through time faster, allowing him to take down not only Jotaro, but also his daughter

05:03Jolene.

05:08But killing multiple JoJo protagonists isn't even the craziest part.

05:13Made in Heaven moves time ahead so fast, it resets the entire universe.

05:21Number 5.

05:22Madara Arrives.

05:23Naruto Shippuden.

05:25For the most part of the second part of Naruto, we're told of the incredible power of Madara,

05:30the legendary head of the Uchiha clan.

05:33An impersonator using his name is enough to start a war, but when the real deal is resurrected

05:38in that conflict, he lives up to his legend.

05:47Madara spends an entire episode flexing on an entire army.

05:51He punks them at hand-to-hand combat.

05:53He matches their jutsu with powerful ones that take dozens to stop.

06:02To top it off, Madara summons a meteor that their strongest ninjas barely stop, and then

06:07has the audacity to ask what they'll do about the second one.

06:11This is how you hype up a villain.

06:20Number 4.

06:21Goku Master's Ultra Instinct.

06:23Dragon Ball Super.

06:25The Dragon Ball franchise is known for its hype, but it reached a new peak with Goku's

06:29battle against Jiren.

06:31Streaming sites all over the world crashed as fans tried to watch this much-anticipated

06:36episode, and it was worth the wait.

06:39Goku finally lands a blow on Jiren.

06:41Lighting up the entire arena with its powerful ki.

06:49And as Jiren tries to finish things in one attack, Goku catches it.

06:54His silvery new form has the gods of destruction standing in amazement and honor.

07:07Beerus and Whis confirm that Goku has fully mastered a power first displayed by the latter,

07:13Ultra Instinct.

07:14If scouters could measure hype levels, everyone's would be considerably higher than 9,000 before

07:19shattering.

07:29Number 3.

07:30Yamamoto's Bankai.

07:31Bleach.

07:32Thousand Year Blood War.

07:34Fans of Bleach have been waiting nearly two decades to see the leader of Soul Society

07:39debut his Bankai.

07:40As the strongest shunigami, surely Yamamoto's had to be impressive, right?

07:45Well, it certainly brings the heat in every sense of the word.

07:53The entirety of Soul Society is drained of moisture by the fire of Zanka no Tachi.

07:58The single touch of the blade is enough to obliterate anything and a huge swath around

08:03it.

08:04As if this wasn't metal enough, its fire is so hot it becomes impossible to touch Yamamoto,

08:10and he can summon the skeletons of all those killed by his flames.

08:18The badass abilities combined with the jaw-dropping animation make this ability reveal straight

08:24fire.

08:32Number 2.

08:33Gear Fifth.

08:34One Piece.

08:35Even the One Piece manga breaks the internet regularly, so fans were aware of Gear Fifth

08:40even before it debuted in the anime.

08:43Still, even manga fans weren't prepared for how off-the-wall it ended up being once

08:47it was animated.

08:53After coming back from the brink of death, Monkey D. Luffy becomes truly free, with his

08:58rubber powers becoming more like rubber hose animation.

09:06With his new Gear Fifth form, Luffy takes the Emperor Kaido to task in outrageous fashion,

09:11throwing him around, rebounding his attacks, and turning the world around him into even

09:16more of a cartoon.

09:18It's simultaneously hilarious and hype.

09:40Number 1.

09:41The Rumbling.

09:42Attack on Titan.

09:49Throughout the show's final season, characters allude to a hypothetical doomsday scenario

09:54in which the Titans inside the walls of Paradis revive and trample the world beneath their

09:59feet.

10:00The Rumbling.

10:01Unfortunately, the world couldn't leave the Eldians alone, and one of them, Eren Yeager,

10:06is pushed far enough that he makes it a reality.

10:15While hype is not exactly what we'd call the genocide of 80% of the world's population,

10:20The Rumbling is certainly every bit as horrific as it was built up to be.

10:25The scenes of ordinary people crushed beneath the uncaring feet of massive Titans are absolutely

10:31haunting and unforgettable.
