We are aware that the Justice Department has arrested several GISBH individuals
00:05
related to Sharia crimes, such as the issue of Akhidah,
00:08
immorality without justice, unlawful marriage, and the issue of child abduction.
00:15
So my question is, how does the Justice Department
00:18
explain the actions that will be taken against those involved
00:22
in the Sharia laws that are different according to the country?
00:26
And secondly, how many GISB religious schools and schools of worship
00:31
are there in the country?
00:33
And how many have been arrested and taken action against?
00:41
Thank you, Your Honour.
00:43
On the question that was given,
00:45
the government always discusses and deals with the heads of state religious authorities
00:52
to ensure that any action taken against those involved in Sharia crimes
00:58
is lawful and fair.
01:00
For example, in the case of GISBH,
01:05
a negotiation with the heads of state religious authorities
01:10
has been carried out with all the states in Malaysia.
01:14
This has resulted in several decisions that I can share with you.
01:18
Several decisions that have resulted in the implementation of action plans
01:24
in the case of GISBH.
01:27
The first is the restoration of Akhidah,
01:29
which was proposed by Mr. Jakim.
01:32
Then there is the issue of unlawful marriage,
01:34
which was proposed by the heads of state religious authorities.
01:38
In order to help those involved in GISBH,
01:43
we consulted with the heads of state religious authorities
01:47
in terms of Zakat.
01:49
A restoration module has also been built.
01:51
So far, seven modules have been built.
01:54
And a restoration centre has also been set up.
01:57
So, regarding the second question,
01:59
which is regarding the number of religious houses
02:02
and the number of temporary places provided,
02:07
I would like to provide a written answer
02:10
because the facts need to be correct.
02:12
And it requires a more accurate and sound analysis.
02:21
I have one additional question.
02:24
We know that GISBH was accused of continuing the practice of the Muhammadiyah.
02:32
Okay.
02:33
That is a major accusation.
02:35
But so far, it has not been claimed under the accusation.
02:39
I have seen it clearly in the list of accusations.
02:42
Some have been accused of being involved in a group of planned crimes, etc.
02:48
But the original accusation has not been made so far.
02:52
So, I would like to get an explanation.
02:54
Why was the accusation not continued,
02:57
even though that was the main accusation?
02:59
Secondly, as a company,
03:01
GISB was accused of not paying income tax, etc.
03:04
So far, there has not been a single accusation brought against the company.
03:09
And I would like to ask,
03:11
how long will these children be detained
03:16
and separated from their parents?
03:18
Because there was a case of children who were detained for a year and a half
03:21
and they had to use lawyers to get money to get their children back.
03:26
So, I would like to get an explanation. Thank you.
03:28
Thank you for the question.
03:30
There are several components to the question.
03:34
As a response to the first component,
03:38
which is the accusation on the aspect of Akhidah.
03:42
Actually, if we look at it,
03:44
before proceeding with any claim on the aspect of Akhidah,
03:48
there needs to be a legal settlement.
03:51
So, I would like to share here that
03:53
several countries have made a legal settlement until October.
03:56
The country of Perlis, Pahang, Selangor,
03:59
as well as MKI has also held a trial
04:03
and has established several legal settlements.
04:07
And these legal settlements will be the reference
04:10
to make a claim.
04:12
In addition to that, to ensure that before the claim is made,
04:15
the evidence needs to be ensured,
04:19
the legitimacy and strength of the evidence itself.
04:22
So, in this aspect, we leave it to the authorities,
04:27
especially from the Shari'a authorities,
04:29
to investigate this matter in a better way.
04:33
The second question, I would like to take some time,
04:35
which is related to the company's rights.
04:38
We leave this to the authorities.
04:41
It is not under the jurisdiction of the religious authorities,
04:44
but it is under the jurisdiction of other authorities.
04:47
Until when will they be held?
04:49
Actually, if we look at the data
04:52
and the reports that have been carried out,
04:55
actually, all parties that collaborate together
04:59
are not just one party.
05:01
It includes the MKN, PDRM, JAKIM,
05:06
and many other parties.
05:07
Indeed, these agencies have SOP
05:11
and also follow the existing laws.
05:13
All things cannot be done in a happy manner.
05:16
Therefore, we give a belief and confidence
05:20
that this agency plays its role as best as possible
05:23
to protect the well-being of all those involved.
05:27
That's all. Thank you.
