Nothing goes viral like dancing. Welcome to MsMojo, and today we're counting down our picks for the viral dance routines that originated on our screens but made us all want to get on our feet and give them a go.

01:18Even if you've never seen the film, you've likely seen the countless gifs, memes, or

01:36Who says animated movies can't start dance crazes?
01:40Disney's Encanto has us all enchanted, and Jamal Simms and Kai Martinez's choreography
01:46to Lin-Manuel Miranda's incredible soundtrack was a big part of the magic.
01:52We come up with the choreography, we film it, and then we give it to our amazing animators.

05:40There was no shortage of dance choices from The Greatest Showman that could have gone
05:44viral, but TikTok dancers clearly love a challenge, and they zeroed in on this one.
05:51Choreographer Ashley Wallen called it one of his favorites because of how it fits into
06:03the story and the emotion behind it.
06:05He mentioned that it pushed the dancers to go the extra mile with their bodies, revealing
06:10it was physically demanding, and they only had a couple of days to film it.
06:26Can you imagine the core strength needed to pull off those moves without losing your balance?
06:31Yet, here comes the internet, ready to unleash its boundless energy and put on The Greatest

06:47Turk's Poison Dance – Scrubs
06:49Variations of the game had been around for a while, but in 2017, Fortnite really took

06:56The dances, or emotes, became iconic in their own right, although some fans noticed striking
07:01similarities to other choreography.
07:11It's one thing to borrow a move, after all.
07:13Even the Colton has its inspirations, but lifting an entire routine is another story.
07:18Donald Faison reportedly drew from his childhood when he and his friends created their own
07:24choreography, imagining themselves as Belle Bib Devoe.
07:34So you can imagine he wasn't thrilled to see it used in the game without so much as a credit.

07:53A Killer Routine – Megan
07:56Megan is an AI-powered doll who knows how to slay.
08:06She inspired millions of TikTok users to show off their best moves, the non-lethal kind,
08:11of course.
08:12Interestingly, Megan's now-iconic dances, choreographed by Jed Brophy and Amy Donald,
08:18who embodies the killer doll, weren't originally scripted.
08:22Director Gerard Johnson added them later, saying he just kind of snuck it in to see
08:26if it would get a reaction.
08:28He called it,
08:29"...one of those ideas you come up with when you just haven't had enough sleep."
08:32Apparently, the crew ate it up, but that was nothing compared to the public's response.
08:37Maybe they didn't plan for a viral dance, but they definitely got one.

08:48Bye Bye Bye – Deadpool and Wolverine
08:51If you were around in 2000, you probably lit up seeing this dance back in the spotlight.
09:02Although to you, it's probably not the Deadpool dance, but rather, the NSYNC choreo you spent
09:07hours perfecting in front of your bedroom mirror.
09:10Still, if TikTok had been a thing back then, it would've been everywhere.
09:15Anyway, while Nick Pauly does an impeccable job recreating the dance as Ryan Reynolds'
09:20double in the movie's opening, credit really does go to Darren Henson, the original choreographer.
09:25He told Forbes that he crafted the routine during the Y2K hype and wanted to connect
09:31the world through dance, so he's delighted that his moves are still bringing people together

09:48Revolting Children – Matilda The Musical
09:51Before the full movie even hit our screens, one clip had everyone captivated.
10:04When the kids finally break free of Ms. Trunchbull's iron fist control, they explode into the
10:10high-energy Revolting Children.
10:13Choreographer Ellen Kane shared that director Matthew Walkers wanted the dance to feel like
10:17dance bursting, and it sure does.
10:20One standout moment takes place in a hallway led by Hortensia, a.k.a. Red Beret Girl, played
10:26by Misha Garbutt.
10:36Among nearly 300 young dancers, there was something about her crisp moves and infectious
10:41energy that grabbed everyone's attention.
10:44Her sharp steps made it impossible not to want to jump in and dance along.

11:15Wednesday's Raven Dance – Wednesday You've probably heard by now that Jenna Ortega
11:20herself came up with the iconic Wednesday dance.
11:35During a chat with Jimmy Fallon, she revealed that Tim Burton originally envisioned a flush
11:40mob, but Ortega thought that just wasn't very Wednesday.
11:44Instead, he trusted his leading actress to create the dance herself.
11:48And boy, did she do her homework.
12:05Oh, and apparently, she came up with it in just two days.
12:09Ortega didn't expect it to blow up the way it did, but soon enough, fans everywhere were
12:13recreating it.
12:15Weirdly, though, the craze really took off when people realized the choreo synced perfectly
12:19with Lady Gaga's sped-up Bloody Mary.
12:30Gaga joined in, too, and even got Wednesday's approval.
12:34It was only a matter of time before Mother Monster put her own spin on it, especially
12:39after the trend got the official Wednesday Addams stamp of approval on Twitter.
