00:00I've worked with many celebrities, Mick Jagger, Rachel McAdams, Sadie Sink. Today, I'm gonna be styling Stacey.

00:07Hi! Hi Stacey!

00:08And we're gonna do Beyonce's long bob or lob.

00:12Beyonce's lob is so iconic, it's never going to go out of style.

00:15I love this look on her. The blonde is going to pop and then we are gonna cut it into this cute floaty bob,

00:22just like Beyonce.

00:24Oh my god! Wow!

00:26Alright, let's take a look.

00:31I love everything about my job. I love the whole process of making the client feel beautiful.

00:36There's no such thing as too much hair, too much curl.

00:39I want the client to feel great about their hair.

00:42So I'm gonna start with the Kristoff Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub,

00:46because you have a little bit of oil in there and I want to make sure to get it all out.

00:49Whatever this is, it smells incredible.

00:52It's so good.

00:54This product, it's a salt scrub.

00:56It's meant to kind of reset your scalp and just kind of give it like a nice good detox.

01:01So now we're gonna rinse.

01:03Beyonce's lob is so iconic because it is a bob.

01:06It's timeless. It's been timeless since Coco Chanel came up with the bob.

01:12You can style it different ways. You can wear it down the middle, you can part it to the side.

01:15It's always going to be in season. It's always going to be a classic.

01:19It's never going to go out of style.

01:21All the old school relaxers with formaldehyde in it are really harmful for your health.

01:27We do not do this.

01:28We strictly use the amino acid treatment from Pure Lux.

01:31Pure Lux uses amino acids to smooth the hair cuticle down so it's shinier and it appears smoother.

01:39All right, let's mix it up.

01:43So give me the tea. Who have you worked with in the last couple years?

01:46One of the biggest celebrities that I've done would be Mick Jagger.

01:51Ooh.

01:52Most recent would be Rachel McAdams and Sadie Singh from Stranger Things.

01:57And Rachel McAdams I would say is my top favorite.

02:01So I'm applying the Pure Lux right now.

02:03So I'm just kind of saturating it but not too much where it's dripping.

02:06And then just kind of massaging it into your hair so it seeps in there.

02:10All right, we'll set a timer for 30 minutes and set you under infrared heat.

02:16This is the infrared light and it's going to help the product penetrate your hair a little bit more.

02:21There is a take-home treatment as a stylist and I know my clients, they take it and they abuse it.

02:28And when you use too much, it's not good for your hair.

02:30I would advise not to do that.

02:33All right, so it's been 30 minutes.

02:35I'm going to turn this off and then we're going to go to the shampoo bowl.

02:39We're going to rinse.

02:41So now we're going to brush your hair out and blow dry it.

02:45And this is going to kind of seal it all in.

02:49Especially the flat iron is going to seal the whole Pure Lux treatment into your hair.

02:54I always tell my clients when they use hot tools or blow dryers at home to put it on medium heat settings.

03:00You don't want that much air coming out of the blow dryer.

03:03You just want a little bit of heat and it's slow heat.

03:06And that's what's going to give you a longer lasting result.

03:09Without damage.

03:11All right, we're almost done.

03:12Oh, I am starting to feel my inner Sasha fierce.

03:16Come on, Beyonce.

03:18So the color we're doing today is Beyonce's kind of classic signature golden blonde.

03:24I'm going to go through and use kind of a combination of highlighting techniques to brighten you up as much as possible.

03:31Without touching any of the ends that are already a little compromised.

03:36All right, so your foils are fully processed.

03:39We'll get it all rinsed, shampooed, and then we're going to put your gloss on.

03:43So you're not going to have any harsh lines and you're going to have a lot more of a natural grow out.

03:47I know that you're a mom and a business owner and you need something that's more low maintenance, but still fun.

03:58I see the Beyonce cover.

04:00I see the Beyonce cover.

04:04So one thing I do notice about Beyonce's bob is how floaty it looks and how it swings with her head.

04:10So to achieve that look, what I do, my little secret is I go from the inside, the very bottom, I cut short.

04:17I cut shorter than anything else.

04:19And as I go up each section, a millimeter longer, a millimeter longer.

04:24So then it gives it that nice floaty look without the flip.

04:28You need to get your lob trimmed probably about every eight weeks.

04:31It is a very high-maintenance haircut because it has to be above your shoulder.

04:37So once it touches, it needs to be cut.

04:44All right.

04:45My lips are so red right now.

04:51Yes!

04:52Oh my God!

04:53Wow!

04:54I love it!

04:59That's so cute!
