00:00Moresnet is a mystery thriller about free will versus predestination.

00:10This show tells two stories.

00:13One about Ben, a down on his luck 34 year old man that returns to his childhood town

00:18Moresnet and together with his childhood friends he discovers a diary with a prophetic death

00:24list with their names on it.

00:25The other story is about a German young woman Eva who takes over the neuroscience company

00:32of her grandfather and discovers that that company has a very dark secret.

00:39Two storylines reflect the main theme of the story namely the question what is a human

00:45being?

00:46Is it a body with a brain?

00:48Is it a conscience?

00:49Is it a body with chips implanted in his brain?

00:51The philosophical idea about it, the rethinking of what a human being is, is extremely important.

00:57The best part of the show for me was to be able to play in these different languages

01:02because of the three country point where it was set and to be able to play with the best

01:07actors of those countries.

01:09We live in a time where there's a whole lot of stuff happening above our heads and we

01:14don't get a grasp on what the hell is going on.

01:17We wanted to take that feeling almost like a film noir kind of feeling and transport

01:23it into 2024.
