00:00Yourself, I don't know what you want to call your line, three mats, triple mats, whatever,

00:11but it's going well isn't it?

00:13You, Matt Heywood and Matt Bissonnette seem to have clicked, seem to have found your groove

00:16and you're putting up plenty of points and contributing on a wide scale.

00:21Yeah, I just think those guys are, you know, they've been around the game for so long,

00:24they're so easy to play with and it makes my job much easier to just kind of try and

00:28find the open ice and if they can hit me, that's great.

00:31So playing with them has been a blast so far.

00:34This season everyone's been saying that the league has got stronger, teams have got stronger

00:39across the board.

00:40Is that something you sort of agree with?

00:41Yeah, I would agree 100%.

00:43I think that top to bottom everyone seems to be better this year.

00:46You know, you can't come to the rank and, you know, kind of take it easy on a team because

00:51they'll make you pay.

00:52So you've got to come ready to play every night and we're slowly kind of getting back

00:55into that now.

00:56Do you feel that, having won the league twice, I know you're only here for that second sort

01:00of title success, do you feel that it will be harder to be successful this year because

01:06of that sort of upgrade in talent?

01:08Yeah, definitely.

01:09I think obviously, like you said, with the upgrade in talent and winning back to back,

01:13it's hard enough to go two in a row, so to do three in a row, obviously teams aren't

01:17going to want to let that happen.

01:18So I think, you know, that's obviously what we want to do, but we're so a long way away

01:22from that, so just kind of take it a game at a time.

01:24Last couple of years, obviously, you know, you've been the team to catch, do you feel

01:28that it will be a bit more topsy-turvy at the top, that the league will probably change

01:31hands more often than before?

01:33Yeah, it definitely could be that way.

01:35Obviously, we want to get to the top and stay there, but like we said, there's a lot of

01:39good teams this year, so it's not going to be as easy maybe as it was in prior years.

01:44Just a quick word about Mambis, I know you've spoken about it two minutes already, but it's

01:48coming this year to an already successful team, same as you did last year.

01:52It's not necessarily an easy thing to do that, is it, because there's a level of expectations

01:56from them?

01:57Yeah, I think the main thing is you're just trying to fit in with what they had the year

02:01before and what kind of worked, and obviously you want to come in and play your game, but

02:04to kind of find that happy medium is tough sometimes, but he's done an excellent job

02:09of just coming in and playing his game, and it's worked really well with us.
