Lauren Hemp was named WSL Player of the Month for October, with two goals and an assist in three games

00:01I've seen huge growth in Lauren's game.

00:03I think it's great that she's been recognised with Player of the Month

00:06and I think it was a really solid month for her because she

00:09really drove the team to high, high levels.

00:12And of course, you know, she was always a good player when I first arrived.

00:15There's no doubt about that.

00:16She was a player that caught the eye straight away,

00:18but I feel her game understanding is massively improved.

00:22I think she recognises the right moments to go and do a thing

00:27and recognises the right moments to maintain possession

00:29when the numbers might be against her.

00:31So, very intelligent player, very humble person to work with.

00:35Has a really good open mindset to growth and, yeah,

00:39she's a real solid member of the team.

00:40And like you say, she's taken on that extra responsibility now,

00:43which is great.

00:44She's suggesting things, she's helping young players,

00:47even though she's a young player herself.

00:49So, yeah, like I said previously, she's great to work with

00:52and really enjoying seeing this new kind of maturity in her.
