00:00For the New York Yankees, down 3-0, no one's ever come back from 3-0 in the World Series.

00:10Of course, the Yankees are the only team to ever blow a 3-0 lead in a seven-game series

00:14in baseball's history with the 0-4 Red Sox in the ALCS.

00:20So for the Yankees to win the World Series, it would be a lot of history.

00:24Currently, they are 12-1 to come back.

00:30And that is just not enough juice whatsoever, in my opinion, which is a little frustrating.

00:41Because I wouldn't mind taking a shot at it, right?

00:45I wouldn't mind getting involved and, okay, here we go, but I don't really think 12-1,

00:53it doesn't feel good enough to me, at least.

00:55Now, maybe if you went money line, rollover, money line, rollover, right?

01:01Maybe you would come up short of a 12-1 marker, and in fact, you probably would.

01:08And here's why.

01:09The Yankees tonight, right now, just using FanDuel's odds, are minus 146 to win the baseball

01:15game.

01:16The Yankees being favored does not at all mean that they will win the game.

01:23They were favored yesterday.

01:25But it shows that the Yanks aren't showing up here, right, with no chance.

01:30If the New York Yankees do win this game, you would imagine, Saturday, Sunday, Monday,

01:37Tuesday, four days rest, you'd imagine Garrett Cole goes, you'd imagine he would get the

01:46ball on the Wednesday to finish out the Bronx portion of the World Series?

01:52Well, if he does, the Yanks will be favored again.

01:57Now, that doesn't necessarily matter, but when we are trying to evaluate whether or

02:05not a team can come back, right, and actually, you know, pull off what feels like the impossible,

02:16it's not like, you know, when the Miami Heat a few years ago in the Eastern Conference

02:23Finals were up 3-0 on the Boston Celtics, and then ultimately, that series went 7, and

02:30Boston had the home game 7, and were huge favorites to win the game, right?

02:38You saw how difficult it was, but also the fact that it was so on the board, it was with

02:43the odds.

02:44We knew that Boston was favored to still win all of the games, so if the Yankees were to

02:50win the games that they are going to be favored in for the rest of this series, right, if

02:57the favorites going to win the rest of the games of the World Series, then that would

03:02actually suggest that this will go 6, right, which is a plus 500 ticket out there if you

03:09are interested in potentially getting down on something like that, which I don't hate,

03:16by the way, plus 500.

03:18I don't mind that at all, right?

03:20You'd have to cash Yankee's money line for two games, then you'd be sitting on a Dodgers

03:245-1.

03:25That's probably where the rollover would be a little bit better than maybe necessarily

03:30playing at that number, but for the New York Yankees, when we evaluate this series, it's

03:39oddly, it feels like they are massively mismatched, and that kind of is always how it is when

03:49someone is up 3-0 in a best-of-seven series, right?

03:53But we look back towards game number one, and the Yankees absolutely should have won

04:00that game.

04:01Now, it's not that they were robbed, but they allowed, the way they lost that game was just

04:08unimaginable, right?

04:10Okay, you've now lost what was a necessary result because you have to take one in Los

04:16Angeles.

04:18Game number two, they're being shut out the entire way.

04:22But the Dodgers didn't score past the third inning.

04:26The Yankees in that game had an opportunity for some magic in the bottom of the ninth.

04:32Yankees didn't deserve to win the game, but all of a sudden they made a game of it.

04:37Today was the game that they were most dominated in, but even still, a Verdugo home run with

04:47two outs, and you start to ask yourself, well, I don't know, if Glaber can get on, Soto comes

04:55up and then anything's possible, right?

04:58Well, they didn't get that timely hit, and now the Yankees, you're sat there thinking

05:05to yourself, man, are we going to get any timely hits in this series?

05:13If it's going to happen, it would be sure nice if your captain had one.
