00:00All right. So the Ravens D let things up a little bit yesterday, which was surprising
00:07against the Cleveland Browns. James Winston steps in, he throws for over 300 yards, hits
00:12Tillman with a touchdown late. Not as much Derrick Henry as we're used to seeing, but
00:18good teams, bad teams, Adam, it doesn't seem to matter. There's always that disappointing
00:21game on the schedule and this is probably Baltimore's.
00:26I would love to say that, except how many times have we said that about Baltimore this
00:31year? I recognize the Ravens are out to a five and three start and they're right in
00:34the thick of everything, but consider their schedule, right? I mean, in the beginning
00:39of the season, very nearly stole that game against the Chiefs. So fine. But then they
00:44give one up late against the Raiders who we know are not good. They allowed the Cowboys
00:49to come back from down double digits in the fourth quarter to only beat them by three
00:54points. Ultimately the bangles, that was a back and forth affair. Nothing easy about
00:59it. Kind of the same thing with the Buccaneers last time out. And so I don't know, it sort
01:04of, it feels like there's something that's a little bit fraudulent about the Ravens.
01:08I'm not sure that, that if, you know, if I was looking to place a futures bet right now
01:13on, on who's going to win the super bowl, those odds would have to be longer for me
01:18to really be attracted to the Ravens. Despite all the offensive weapons Lamar and what he's
01:24capable of doing, Derrick Henry is having an other worldly season. They've got, you
01:29know, great, you know, Zay flowers, you know, he bounced back in a big way this week. They
01:34they've got a lot of talent, obviously, but there's just something, and maybe it's the
01:37defense, but there's something about that team that I just can't trust in, in really
01:43big, important games. And I'm not saying that yesterday's game was a really big, important
01:47one, but as we like to say in the gambling space, it smelled, didn't it? Like there's
01:51a reason that everybody was on the Browns at plus nine, nine and a half earlier in the
01:58week, even as it came down closer to kickoff. Like I just kept, you know, I was pulling
02:02a Cam Stewart. I just kept reinvesting. I'm doubling down, doubling down on the Browns
02:07as we got closer to that game starting because you know, the, the Jameis Winston narrative
02:12and coming in, you knew that he was going to be exponentially better than Deshaun Watson,
02:17even with no Amari Cooper anymore, it was only a question of how much better now that
02:22I think the Browns were going to go out and win that game. I didn't, I figured it was
02:25going to look a lot like some of these really close, narrow, not cover the spread wins for
02:30Baltimore that we've seen so many times already. But am I shocked that Winston and the Browns
02:35went out and won? I'm not because it just sort of felt like one of those weird days
02:40where, and there was a lot of it in the NFL yesterday. I'm sure you've been talking about
02:44it all. So a lot of weird finishes, a lot of weird games across the league and, and
02:49this shaped up as being one of them going in. And so the fact that the Browns were just
02:54the latest dog to not only cover, but win outright is not surprising. I only wish that
02:59Jameis Winston didn't screw up the, you know, lose yourself Eminem lyrics after the game
03:03post game interview.
