00:07We asked for an update from PITX Corporate Affairs Officer, Colleen Calbasa.

00:18Yes, we just want to update you on the places where the trips are canceled for our countrymen to know.

00:26As per yesterday, the LTFRB and LTO issued an advisory discouraging buses from Manila to the Bicol Region

00:39except for Daed to Marina Sur because our route to Daed is passable.

00:47However, the other provinces in the Bicol Region are not yet passable due to the traffic on the Maharlika Highway.

00:56Our passengers might get stuck on the Maharlika Highway, that's why they were discouraged.

01:03That's all.

01:04Until now, our Bicol Region trips are still not allowed to travel.

01:11What is the update on the arrival of buses at the terminal?

01:16You mentioned the Maharlika Highway.

01:18Aside from that, are there any roads that are being monitored that might be affected by the arrival of buses?

01:25Actually, that's all.

01:27Because our trips going north, meaning to Pangasinan and Tuguegarao,

01:33are not allowed for our passengers to travel there.

01:37However, that's all.

01:39This is a big advisory because we know that Bicol is a blockbuster in our terminal during the holiday season.

01:48How is the status of the number of buses?

01:51Is it still enough?

01:54Especially since Southern Luzon was severely affected.

01:58Yes, we are ready for the supply of buses.

02:04But we are not allowed to travel because of that advisory.

02:09Are we ready for the expected increase of passengers for the upcoming trips?

02:15What are the preparations to ensure that their trips are safe?

02:21Actually, the LTO is conducting roadworthiness inspections on our buses

02:28to make sure that our buses are ready to travel and not to get stuck on the road.

02:33Aside from that, in partnership with DOTR and SAIC, we have an enforcement

02:40to ensure that our buses will not get stuck on the road.

02:45Of course, during this peak season, there are different routes

02:51and they should go straight to our terminal

02:55to ensure that our buses arrive safely.

03:00Are our buses fully booked now?

03:03And what are the things that we are worried about?

03:07Or are there no seats available for the buses?

03:11As of now, we are not fully booked.

03:14However, we expect that we will be fully booked by Thursday and Friday.

03:22Okay, and finally, a message for our countrymen and for the public.

03:27Okay, to our countrymen, if you don't have a ticket yet,

03:31you need to secure it early on so that you won't be a chance passenger or walk-in.

03:37So that you will have less hassle.

03:39At the same time, let's not bring flammable items, sharp objects,

03:44because it will be confiscated in our terminal.

03:47And then if we bring pets, it's okay.

03:50Pets are friendly in the terminal. Small to medium pets are allowed in buses.

03:55However, let's just ensure that they have seats.

03:58And then, of course, let's check with our bus operators.
