U.S. Approves Sale of Advanced Air Defense System, Radars to Taiwan

The U.S. has approved the sale of NASAMS, an advanced missile defense and radar system, to Taiwan. However, the sale still requires Congressional approval.

00:35It has also been verified in the U.S. during the U.S.-U.S. War of Independence.

00:39It is helpful in improving the overall air defense performance of the U.S. military.

00:44The equipment will come from U.S. Air Force stockpiles.
