Halloween at the Old Chequers Inn, Croft

There were some spooky goings on when the Old Chequers Inn at Croft held its Halloween party.

00:08Now you've got some very scary customers in tonight, tell me what's happening?

00:13We're just having our Halloween party, we've got the lovely Nilek performing for us tonight.

00:19And are all these locals that have got dressed up for you tonight?

00:23Yes they are, local to the area.

00:25Ok, so you've got some really good outfits going, so do you hold events like this all the time?

00:32Yes we do, we had a vow renewal last weekend.

00:36Yeah, lots going on.

00:38I'm sure you'll have a nice Facebook page somewhere that will tell everybody what's happening I would imagine.

00:44Yes, yes.

00:45Ok, so let's see who we've got over there.

00:50Ok, so we've got some interesting characters here, where have you come from tonight?

00:55Alaska.

00:56Alright, well that is quite a long way.

01:00Did you come especially to visit the checkers?

01:03I came for the weather.

01:04Oh you came for the weather, yeah, we've always got excellent weather here.

01:09I came for the checkers and these normal people.

01:12Yes, well, certainly some interesting villagers in Croft, where are you from tonight?

01:19Manchester.

01:20Ok, right, we haven't found any Croft people, have we actually got any Croft people here?

01:25Yay!

01:26We found some!

01:27Ok.

01:28This is our favourite pub in the whole wide world, so we come in here all the time.

01:33Do you always look like this when you come in?

01:36Yes, of course.

01:39Some mornings.

01:41You like to make an effort when you come out?

01:43Of course we do, we do like to dress up.

01:47Ok, so who else have we got, where are you from tonight?

01:51We're from Bradford.

01:53Ok, so are you staying in the area?

01:56Yes, we've got a caravan on the back.

01:58Alright, so this of course must be your favourite pub.
