00:00President Zelensky calling for world leaders to step up pressure on Pyongyang, as he warned

00:05that North Korean troops could be fighting against his country as soon as this Sunday.

00:09We have information that two units of military personnel from North Korea are being trained,

00:16potentially even two brigades of 6,000 people each, and this is a challenge.

00:24If North Korea can intervene in the war in Europe, then the pressure on this regime is

00:28definitely not strong enough.

00:31Ukraine and South Korea recently announced they had intelligence that thousands of North

00:35Korean troops were training on Russian soil, as have the US and NATO, which claim to have

00:40proof of the deployment.

00:43On Thursday, Vladimir Putin did not deny the accusations, but stated it was up to Moscow

00:48to decide how to put into effect a treaty with North Korea that includes a mutual defence

00:53clause.

00:55Meanwhile, North Korean state media said Friday that any such deployment to Russia would conform

01:00with international law.

01:02It stopped short, however, of confirming it had sent troops.

01:06German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is among those to voice concern over North Korea's potential

01:10involvement in the conflict.

01:13During a trip to India, he called for an end to the fighting.

01:18This war, which has been raging for so long now and is claiming so many victims, must

01:23finally come to an end.

01:25The integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine must be preserved.

01:29The prospect of North Korean involvement has sparked concerns of a significant escalation

01:33in the war.

01:35South Korea's president hinted his country could review its policy of not supplying lethal

01:39weapons to Kiev if Pyongyang's involvement was confirmed.
