00:00I'm a writer.

00:24And one day, through work, I meet the guy who runs the Vance Warp Tour.

00:28This is the biggest punk rock traveling music festival in the world.

00:32And I ask the guy if he'll put my band on the tour so that I can write about it.

00:36And he says yes.

00:38The only problem is I don't have a band.

00:40So I got four weeks to put a band together.

00:43The first guy I call is my buddy Joey, I've known since high school.

00:45He used to play tuba in the marching band.

00:47Now he's a flight attendant and amateur bullfighter.

00:49Too much tequila.

00:50That could be a problem.

00:53The other vocalist is this Mexican kid from Tijuana who used to sneak across

00:56the border every day to go to high school.

00:58The guy is a maricon, man.

00:59Chad is our token 23-year-old pretty boy we used to attract to ladies.

01:03On drums, Sean, semi-respected television producer.

01:06But I also have a wife, a kid, and my in-laws along for the ride.

01:11But I figure if you're going to do it, be David Lee Roth.

01:15Everybody dreams about being a rock star.

01:17Now at 38, with no experience whatsoever, I'm getting my chance to live that dream.

01:22We're one of 86 bands on the tour, right?

01:25There's huge stages and we're nowhere near them.

01:27We're in a tent way off to the side.

01:29So I know that if we're even going to get anybody to notice us, we're going to have
