00:08Razak, were good friends who went on ski trips together, the KL High Court heard on Friday.

00:13Jasmine Lu, a former general counsel of 1MDB, testified that she had first met Reza on a

00:19ski trip with Lowe and his family at a popular ski resort in Whistler, Canada, between December

00:252012 and January 2013.

00:28She said that after leaving 1MDB, she met and became acquainted with Reza on other occasions

00:34when she travelled overseas with Lowe.

00:36She also stated that she believed Lowe and Reza were good friends.

00:40Lu was testifying as the plaintiff's witness in a lawsuit filed by 1MDB against Reza and

00:45his two companies, Red Granite Pictures Incorporated and Red Granite Capital Limited, for misappropriation

00:51of 1MDB's funds.

00:54In a statement of defence filed in October 2021, Reza and his two companies claimed to

00:59have obtained a loan from the Saudi Royal Family or the International Petroleum Investment

01:04Company to produce several films in the United States.

01:08The hearing resumes before Judicial Commissioner Raja Ahmad Mohsanuddin Shah Raja Mohsan on

01:13Monday.
