00:05which was severely flooded due to the rainfall of Hurricane Christine.

00:09Meanwhile, the DSWD said that the government's priority

00:14is to provide assistance to the stranded because of the bad weather or calamity.

00:24Residents of Bypass Road in Barangay Malinis, Lemery, Batangas,

00:28are not able to cross the motorbikes.

00:33Even the trucks are stranded here for almost a day.

00:37Others are only able to cross the thick mud.

00:40They removed their sandals.

00:43The area was said to be flooded yesterday due to the heavy rain.

00:49It is difficult to find food because there is no open road here.

00:57Here are some of the people I talked to.

01:01Yesterday, I went here and it was raining.

01:05We were afraid that it would flood our house.

01:10It's very deep here.

01:13That's why we can't cross the motorbikes.

01:17We removed our sandals so that we can cross.

01:24Road clearing operations are ongoing here in Batangas,

01:32particularly in Lemery.

01:34Now, we can't see any rain even though it's still below the first signal,

01:41which is based on the latest update of the weather forecast.
