Chia Seed & Flaxseed: The Secret Drink for Effective Meal Reduction
Ingredients listed below ⬇️
1 TBSP chia seeds
1 TBSP flaxseeds
1 cup water
1/2 cup low fat milk or
use any milk on your preference
vegan can use non dairy milk
1 TSP honey or maple syrup (optional)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
A pinch of cinnamon (optional)
Fresh fruit (like berries or banana) for topping (optional)
Instructions:
Soak the Seeds: In a bowl, combine chia seeds and flaxseeds with water Let it sit for about 2 hours until the seeds expand and form a gel-like consistency.
For best results, prepare it the night before and let it sit in the refrigerator.
Few hours later blend well together .
While blending add half cup low fat milk or
use any milk on your preference
vegan can use non dairy milk
Mix: Stir in honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cinnamon if using. Mix well.
Serve: Pour the mixture into a glass. You can top it with fresh fruit for added flavor and nutrition.
