00:10I got out of high school, and I know they had the draft going, so I called the draft

00:14board up one day and asked them what I was going to get drafted, and then they sent me

00:22over to Vietnam.

00:30My uncle Gus, he says, take all the pictures you can when you get over there.

00:35Still pictures, and movie pictures, and Super 8 back at that time.

00:42So I did.

00:49When the rounds start coming in, mortar rounds, I would flip this thing on and run into the

01:00bunker.

01:02So I was done making that one recording, and we were sitting here, and we heard a round

01:07go off.
