The rapper went live on IG from a hospital bed Monday, where she’d been laid up for a few days -- and despite being under the weather, she didn't hold back, venting, "Motherf***ers have taken s*** too f***ing far when you mess with my f***ing kids."

00:00Cardi B, there are a couple of mysteries here.

00:02One is, why is she in the hospital?

00:05That's actually the lesser of the mysteries here,

00:07at least as far as Cardi's concerned.

00:09Obviously, she knows why she's in the hospital.

00:10The bigger is, who made a particular phone call?

00:13A phone call to Child Protective Services

00:17that had the agency coming out to Cardi's house,

00:21and she is livid.

00:23Now, obviously, the reason she's livid

00:25is there's nothing going on with her kids.

00:28Her kids are not being abused.

00:30But the call claimed that.

00:32Claimed that the kids were being beaten

00:34actively at that moment.

00:36At that moment, at 11 o'clock at night,

00:38I believe it was a Sunday night.

00:40And so, CPS did its due diligence.

00:43They came out to the house.

00:45And you gotta realize that when CPS does this,

00:49they have to see the kids.

00:50And so, you're waking the kids up, alarming them.

00:54Cardi's in the hospital, so that's a problem right there.

00:58She is livid, livid.

01:01I'm gonna sue Child Protective Services

01:03for coming to my house at whatever time it comes.

01:08And I'm also gonna sue the person that did this.

01:11I'm gonna hire the best private investigator

01:13in the whole country.

01:15Because y'all take joking,

01:17and y'all take a little too far.

01:21Don't you ever in your life play with my kids?

01:25My kids have never been touched.

01:27Never got hit.

01:28No matter how annoying they are, I never hit my kids.

01:31Y'all going to die.

01:32I'm going to beat the out of you.

01:38As soon as I know and retract that phone call,

01:48Because you thought it was okay to mess with kids.

01:52So, I just wanna say one thing.

01:54Because when I was a reporter at CBS in Los Angeles,

01:57I did 22 stories on the Department of Children

02:02and Family Services.

02:04And one of the things that we found,

02:08and we made a big deal of this,

02:10kids were dying because the social workers

02:13weren't going out to the houses enough,

02:14and there were budgetary issues and everything else.

02:16So, I get Cardi's upset,

02:18but CBS is doing its job when they go out.

02:22The real issue is, who made the call?

02:24Who made the call?

02:25She's definitely not going to have any luck suing them.

02:27Because like you said, they're just doing their job.

02:29But the real scumbag here is whoever the person was

02:32who made this call.

02:34And I don't think, I mean, I know she said

02:36she has a lot of money,

02:37can probably hire the best private investigator

02:39that money can buy.

02:40I don't know if they're going to have any luck

02:43because these calls have to come in anonymously.

02:45So, I don't think she's ever going to-

02:46So, that CBS can do their work.

02:48She's never going to find out.

02:50Because CBS, they want people to call in anonymously.

02:54So, they're not going to give up the phone number.

02:56So, it's a problem though.

02:58The one good news is like you guys said,

02:59she is in the hospital,

03:00but clearly she's doing well enough

03:02to hop on Instagram Live that this made her that angry,

03:05but she's at least feeling up to that.

03:07Like we said, we have no clue why she's in the hospital.

03:10But I mean, this is a very similar

03:13kind of like the swatting things we see

03:16where people will swat homes.

03:19But they did it with her kids essentially.

03:21Usually they call and say that there's someone with a gun,

03:24someone's being held hostage

03:25and the cops send out, go out full force.

03:28This obviously for Cardi is a lot more serious

03:32because it is someone involving her kids.

03:36I just, like you said, I get why she's upset,

03:39but she's, I don't know.

03:42She's not going to get the justice she's hoping for here.

03:44Well, she's not,

03:45but you can totally understand why she's upset.

03:48And again, it's the,

03:50I think there's an extra layer here

03:52that she wasn't even at home to comfort the kids

03:56when CPS shows up at 11 o'clock at night on a Sunday.

04:00I mean, it is alarming for any kid,

04:03for something like that to happen.

04:05So I get it.

04:06I totally get it.

04:07Totally, very serious situation,

04:09but in classic Cardi fashion,

04:10she's like, no matter how annoying my kids are,

04:13I've never beaten them.

04:14It's like, good on Cardi.

04:16Also, you probably, if you're,

04:17if you are going to find this person,

04:20you probably don't want to tell the world

04:21that you're going to beat the hell out of them.

04:23You've already signaled the attack.

04:26And it gets you in a little,

04:27it gets you in a little bit of trouble

04:29when you've already kind of announced it.

04:31Now you end up getting in trouble

04:32if you do find the person, Cardi.
