03:24Entering the new century, Disney started to struggle a bit, first came the release of

03:31In 2000, Fantasia was also re-released with Fantasia 2000 as a tribute.

03:39In 2001, the adventure movie Atlantis, The Lost Empire was released.

03:44The following year, the classic Lilo & Stitch came to theaters.

04:28The major breakthrough as a computer-animation studio came with Disney's 50th movie, Tangled

04:34In 2011, the Winnie the Pooh franchise made a nostalgic return.

04:39With Wreck-It Ralph in 2012, Disney showed they were truly back on top.

04:43The very next year, one of the most beloved animated movies, Frozen, was released, marking

04:47Disney's return to the top with two more Oscars.

04:50In 2014, they released The Incredible Big Hero 6, which also won an Oscar.

04:55Then came the next mega-hit, Zootopia, in 2016, pushing the boundaries of animation

04:59and winning an Oscar.

05:01That same year, Disney also released the adventure musical Moana.

05:05In 2018, Wreck-It Ralph got a sequel with Ralph Breaks the Internet.

05:09Frozen also received a sequel in 2019, which is now the third-highest-grossing animated

05:14movie of all time.

05:15In 2021, Disney released Raya and the Last Dragon, with less success.

05:19That same year, Encanto was also released, which couldn't quite match the pre-COVID

05:23movies but still won an Oscar.

05:25In 2022, Disney experienced its biggest flop with Strange World.
