00:06Personnel your first term you were new to politics, which was a benefit

00:14So people recommended you hires you had to get rid of a lot of people a lot of them turned out to be turkeys and

00:20They're concerned the second term that we may have that same problem. I've told them I know your team

00:26I know they get it now

00:27Do you have I'm not asking for any names

00:29I don't want you I wouldn't I wouldn't dare but do you have a set of people now

00:33You know, you can trust when we get in because we're not gonna have a lot of time in two years

00:37There could be a midterm issue. We've got two years to clean this disaster up

00:41You feel like you've got a roster like it

00:43So when I first got elected Dan, I was only you probably heard me say this to her

00:47But I was there 17 times in Washington DC. So I wasn't a Washington person

00:52Really nobody there and mostly because I was building a hotel in Pennsylvania Avenue and a beautiful hotel

01:00That I sold to the Waldorf Astoria, you know, I did yeah

01:04But I did a beautiful job, but it was mostly for that

01:06So I was I was essentially never in Washington, so I didn't know people so I don't rely on people, you know for big positions

01:13I'm saying hey, do you know anybody that can be like this job in that job and

01:18Generally, I got it very good. We had Lighthizer with your trade

01:22We had we had a lot of good guys, but we also made some mistakes made mistakes at

01:27Attorney General made mistakes. I made some mistakes

01:31And I don't really blame myself, but you know, they were highly recommended by rhinos and they weren't the right people

01:37they just weren't the right people and

01:39There were some other positions who mostly I got a right, you know

01:43Nobody ever talks about the good. We had a lot of great people, right?

01:46But we had some some mistakes and I fired him

01:49I fired him and here's what happens when I fire because I'm famous or whatever for whatever is it when I fire them

01:56Immediately the book companies go to him and they say oh, we'll give you a book

01:59If you say bad things about Trump if Bush fired somebody nobody cares, you know if somebody else fired

02:05But immediately when I fired they go to and they write something or they say like Bolton was a stiff

02:11He was a dumb guy very stupid guy, but actually he came in handy because he was a maniac, you know

02:17He always wanted to go to war with me. He wants to bomb every he wants to bomb

02:20so I just bring he wouldn't talk because he was stupid but what happened and I'd bring him into a room with Putin and

02:27Putin would say oh

02:29Trump wants to go to war

02:31Bolton was with Bush and they you know, think of it. They went into the Middle East

02:36they bombed the hell out of the place and they left, you know, it's like

02:40They bombed this guy would he would go he wanted to bomb anything

02:45He's a nutjob, but but he was good for negotiating purposes

02:49But then after a while yet, so you fire him and when whenever you fire people

02:55Generally, if they have an option that with me they have most people don't care

02:59It's like they get fired, but there's nobody to write about the boss. But if the boss is famous

03:03They can maybe get a book deal so yeah, I believe in firing people for instance in Afghanistan

03:10Biden should have fired every general and every person involved in that botched job moving the soldiers out first everything they did

03:18They should have all been how do you leave the military base first in Bagram?

03:22First of all, they should have used Bagram and then they dropped Bagram and China has Bagram right now

03:27And it's an I was in Bagram. It's amazing. So it's uh, they left it

03:31Yeah, they left they didn't even tell the locals they should have showed up when there was nobody there

03:34Yeah

03:35My plan was I was getting out but keeping Bagram because of China because it's a narrow way from where they make their nuclear weapons

03:41So anyway, that's where it is

03:44That's a saddest story in maybe the most embarrassing story in the history of our country that whole Afghanistan

03:51We were getting out but we were going to get out with dignity and strength and we were going to get out

03:55It was going to be great. We had to get out. It was to 20 years 21 years. It was ridiculous

04:01But we're gonna keep Bagram because of China. We didn't keep it. Can I ask you a hypothetical on that?

04:05Say well, I mean obviously we can't prove a counterfactual

04:07But you're the president say that 2020 debacle doesn't happen and you're sitting there in the Oval. I

04:13Agree, we had to get out of there. Do you say to them the Taliban? Here's the deal brothers

04:18We are leaving but I'm telling you right now you touch a hair on the head of one of our people

04:24We are gonna rain hellfire

04:27But I don't say that we didn't have any soldier shot after I spoke with Abdul the leader of the Taliban

04:33Yeah, we didn't have any soldier not one soldier for 18 months was killed and Biden actually admitted that at a speech a few years

04:41He said well, I have to say no soldiers been killed

04:44we will get we were losing a lot of soldiers over there with Obama and

04:48I said that if you do it, I don't want to say exactly what I said because it's not appropriate

04:54But I said you better not shoot our soldiers. We didn't have one soldier killed in

04:58Yeah in a to think of it in 18 months and then this horrible thing happened

05:04they should have left from Bagram number one not for that base and

05:09We lost 13 soldiers have many really badly hurt, you know with the legs and the arms and the whole thing

05:16We have Americans left behind

05:19Yet some very good people left behind to that

05:22Should have come with us. They had that airlift which was terrible with people falling off the planes

05:27It was so bad and we left behind

05:3180 billion dollars worth of equipment Biden never recovered from that

05:35Everybody saw what a loser Biden is a grossly incompetent man, but here's the bad news. She's worse
