00:31President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. and his first wife, Liza Araneta Marcos, are in Indonesia

00:38for the inauguration of the President-elect Prabowo Subianto and Vice President-elect Gibran Rakabuming.

00:50The first couple flew to Indonesia yesterday after the invitation of Indonesian President Joko Widodo.

00:58But before this important event, Prabowo made a courtesy call to President Marcos in Malacanang

01:06a few months after winning the election.

01:09The two leaders promised to strengthen the alliance of the two countries.

01:16This year, the 75th anniversary of the formal diplomatic relationship is being celebrated.

01:23Therefore, President Marcos' visit is a proof of the deep and strong friendship between the two countries.

01:32It is also a symbol of the commitment of the Philippines to expand and strengthen the bilateral relations between Indonesia.

01:43It is remembered that in 2022, Indonesia was the first state visited by President Marcos after being crowned as the first executive.

01:52It was completed by the formal visit of Indonesian President Widodo in January 2024.
