00:08road team a field goal plus favorite in Knoxville today that's the Crimson Tide

00:14and Kevin as we get ready for this top 15 tilt at Tennessee later on this

00:19Saturday afternoon it should be pointed out that neither of these two teams look

00:25great in their response last week after suffering their first loss of the season

00:29in upset fashion the opening Saturday in October Alabama survives late against

00:36South Carolina Tennessee has to go to overtime against Florida to escape

00:40Rocky Top with a victory courtesy of Dylan Sampson who had all three

00:45touchdowns for the Vols in that matchup the 107th all-time beating between

00:51Alabama and Tennessee the Crimson Tide have won 16 of the last 17 but the last

00:57one on Rocky Top that was a Volunteers victory how do you see this third

01:02Saturday in October playing out so what we are seeing is people are betting

01:05Alabama but I think more so than people running to bet the Crimson Tide I think

01:11people are fading Tennessee in droves only threes out there now and a three

01:15and a half in the market as well showing you that I think people are watching

01:20this Tennessee team especially their most recent performances and finding

01:24those to be far more concerning than Alabama's most recent performances and

01:29in one respect I understand it because Alabama still has Milrow playing at such

01:35a high level they have the win over Georgia which is a whole lot more than

01:39Tennessee's accomplished this season and Nikko doesn't have the same pedigree of

01:44Jalen Milrow again we joke sometimes on the desk about all this stuff but

01:47Milrow won the SEC last year Nikko has done nothing in his career unless you

01:52want to count the citrus ball legitimately that is the biggest thing

01:56he's done in his career he wasn't great in the win against NC State who's

02:00terrible or Oklahoma who's not that good but I still think the Vols are the side

02:06that I look to but specifically and maybe ironically of everything I just

02:09said I like their team total it's 27 and a half I'm not betting on Nikko I'm

02:16betting on Josh Heupel in his career at Tennessee at home in SEC games so I'm

02:22not gonna even use the fluff cupcake games that elevates this number home

02:26games against SEC opponents 36 and a half points per game I think Tennessee

02:31gets to at least 28 Joe it's possible I think in order for Tennessee to win

02:36they're gonna have to go through the total of 56 and a half because then that

02:39means the tempo or Josh Heupel's offense will get going that's a cause of concern

02:43for me when I break this game down from the series perspective Alabama's

02:47dominated 16 in the last 17 they won last year as an eight and a half point

02:51favorite in Tuscaloosa 34 to 20 last time they were in Knoxville they lost

02:5552 to 49 when you look at Tennessee's offense been over the last three weeks

03:00right first three weeks they were well over five yards per carry last three

03:04weeks they've been under five yards per carry Nikko's been handcuffed into long

03:08third down situations drew for a buck 69 no touchdowns one interception against

03:13Arkansas right that's a problem struggled against Florida as well that

03:17cannot be tonight if he's in those type of situations it's all mill row so

03:22that's why I do lean to Alabama from the spread perspective because I have more

03:27confidence in Jalen Milrow being able to take a game over than Nikko up into this

03:32point but that might change Kevin and Ben from an in-game perspective if I

03:36watch the first few play quarters play out
