00:25You know, she passed away not too long ago.

00:28And you know, I just miss her, miss her a lot.

00:30Oh, I'm almost really sorry to hear that, Mr. Andrew.

00:36It's actually kind of OK to miss somebody.

00:41You know, Elmo always feels really sad

00:42when he misses somebody.

00:46But you know, that sadness, it's kind of a gift.

00:49It's kind of a lovely thing to feel, in a way,

00:53because it means you really loved somebody

00:55when you miss them.

00:57And when I miss someone, I remember, when I miss my mom,

01:01I remember all of the cuddles I used to get from her,

01:04all of the hugs I used to get from her, just like that.

01:08And it makes me feel close to her

01:11when I miss her in a strange way.

01:13So I'm happy to have all the memories of my mom

01:16and the joy she brought me and the joy she brought

01:18my brother and my dad and everyone she ever met,

01:23everyone around her.

01:23So when I miss her, I remember, I

01:27remember it's because she made me so happy.

01:29So I can celebrate her, and I can miss her at the same time.

01:35Elmo really loves that, Andrew.

01:36Elmo really listens really well.

01:39Elmo wants to know how people are doing,

01:42and Elmo's very happy that you shared that with him.
