Your weekend football forecast from Alabama to Utah

How will the weather affect some of the biggest football matchups from Oct. 18-20? AccuWeather's Damien Lodes has the answers.

00:00Lots of big football games in the forecast here for this weekend, so let's get you updated on what

00:04to expect. The first one is going to be kicking off this evening right around eight o'clock.

00:08This is going to be eastern time Oregon versus Purdue, and for the most part we're going to see

00:12nice clear skies here for the forecast. Winds will be light as well, so as far as a fall-like

00:18October football game, the forecast for the most part is going to cooperate. By the fourth quarter

00:22temperatures will dip into the 40s, so if you are going to the game, even though we're starting off

00:25in the mid-60s, you might need a light jacket here by the time you leave because it's going to get a

00:29little bit chilly here for us. And then the late game here for your Friday night, yes this is Friday,

00:35kicks off at 10 15 eastern time. The Pokes from Oklahoma State are going to be taking on BYU and

00:40Provo Utah, and once again we're going to see cloudy skies, no snowfall here, but it's going to

00:45be chilly with temperatures in the 40s. Winds will be out of the north about 5 to 10 miles an hour,

00:49so those accuweather real field temperatures will be in the 30s, so that's going to be a really

00:53chilly game here for your Friday evening. And then as we head into Saturday, Michigan takes on

00:57Illinois and Champaign, and you can see right there this is going to be a warm one. We'll see

01:01lots of sunshine, light winds, temperatures are going to be in the upper 70s with accuweather

01:05real field temperatures right around 80, so a pretty warm afternoon there. And then as you look

01:10at the big game for the weekend, it's going to be Alabama and Tennessee and Knoxville. That's going

01:14to be a crazy environment, but the good news is the wind and the temperatures and the sunshine

01:19will cooperate, so overall no weather related issues for that game. That's going to be a big

01:24one there in Knoxville. And then Georgia's taking on Texas, another big game this Saturday. Yeah,

01:30we're going to see some big games here coming on, but this one kicks off later at 7 30. You can see

01:34right there once again lots of sunshine, and then once the sun sets we'll see clear skies as we head

01:38into the evening hour, so everything looks like it's going to be great. And then as we head into

01:41Sunday, NFL games, we'll see lots of sunshine as well in East Weatherford, New Jersey.
