00:00So for the last couple of days we've been doing a number of search warrants around the Corby area

00:05and we've been we've been arresting a number of people on suspicion of being involved in a

00:09conspiracy to supply class A drugs. It's gone really well, we've had some fantastic successes.

00:14We've seized about eight kilograms of what we suspect to be drugs along with some cash and

00:22a load of mobile phones. We've pulled together a huge number of police officers from both North

00:28Hampshire Police and from the East Midlands Special Operations Unit which I work for.

00:32MSU is a collaboration between the five forces of the East Midlands and we come together to target,

00:38specifically target, a number of different areas of criminality including serious and organised

00:42crime. So what we've been doing over the last couple of days is bring together an investigation

00:47into some of that serious and organised crime across Corby. There's a lot of work still to do,

00:52this is just a stepping stone in our investigation. These are long and complex investigations,

00:57we've put a lot of effort into this coming up to the efforts of the last couple of days.

01:03It's been a really difficult time for everybody over the last 12 months or so but during that time

01:10there are still some people out there who seek to cause harm in our communities.

01:16I think this sends a message to the public that we're still working really hard in these difficult

01:20times to keep the public safe and to arrest bad guys that are out there in our community.
