The Monkey and the Lion kids poem

00:00In the jungle, bright and wide, the monkey swung from side to side.
00:16He laughed and danced up in the trees, as he was carried by the breeze.
00:25Down below, the lion lay, basking in the sun all day.
00:32His mane was golden, thick and proud, as he roared mighty, strong and loud.
00:40Come down, come play, the monkey said, but the lion shook his head instead.
00:48I like the ground, it's soft and cool, I'm not as light as you, you fool.
00:56The monkey giggled, full of cheer, come chase me lion, have no fear.
01:04The lion stood and gave a roar, but then he flopped back on the floor.
01:18The monkey danced, the lion snored, they lived in peace and never warred.
