00:29In a short statement to media, Aquino calls the encounter a cordial interaction with the

00:34Senate President Chiz Escudero, former governor of Sorsogon, tells reporters he invited Robredo

00:38to welcome the president on behalf of Bicol.

00:41Escudero, too, was a vice presidential candidate in the 2016 polls.

00:45He calls their coming together that of a quote-unquote odd trio and frames it as the first step towards

00:50the healing of wounds.
