Parliament amends Constitution to grant automatic citizenship to kids born abroad to M'sian mothers

The Dewan Rakyat has passed a law allowing children born abroad to Malaysian mothers with foreign spouses to be granted automatic citizenship.   This came after more than two-thirds of the members voted on Thursday (Oct 17) to amend the Federal Constitution on citizenship.
