Hakim Hamidi mendakwa perjuangan Umno diketuai abangnya Zahid semakin lemah dalam menjaga hak Melayu dan Islam dengan tegas, menyebabkannya memohon menyertai PAS.
00:00Hakeem Hamidi claimed that Amno's struggle was led by his brother Zahid Hamidi's weakness in upholding the rights of Malay and Islam with firmness, causing him to ask to join PAS.
00:13Hakeem also claimed to have decided to leave Amno because he wanted to return to his family's struggle, where his father Hamidi Abdul Fattah was previously a PAS activist.
00:24However, his father joined Amno following in the footsteps of Zahid because he was convinced that Amno as a Malay party was committed to upholding Islam.
00:32Hakeem, who claimed to have often helped his brother in the Dato' section, insisted that Amno was no longer the same and his confidence in Amno's original struggle began to fade.
00:45His firmness made him want to return to PAS, which he claimed to still be able to uphold the rights of Malay and Islam in this country.
00:55Hakeem explained that even though he chose a different political path from Zahid, the relationship between them remained intact.
