00:00Maharashtra. This will be in single phase. The notifications, date of notifications are

00:07in front of you. 22nd October would be date of notification. Last date of making nomination

00:17would be 29th October. Scrutiny on 30th October and last date for withdrawal 4th and date

00:24of poll in Maharashtra would be 20th November. Counting would be on 23rd, 11th, 24th and

00:32you will notice that date of poll is Wednesday. This is deliberately with lot of scheduling,

00:41whatever goes into scheduling. We have tried that it is midday so that issue of urban apathy

00:49is handled. In case of urban apathy, we are really concerned. We want to make appeal through

00:58you to all our esteemed voters in the urban areas to please come and vote. It is not a

01:07healthy trend which is reflected. If I give you a brief of what is happening across the

01:13elections in the urban apathy, we will share this slide with you. If you look at various

01:20states, you look at Gurgaon, you look at Faridabad recently, last elections you look at Jubilee

01:25Hills, Hyderabad, you look at Bangalore South, you look at Gujarat, Gandhigarh, Colaba, Mumbai

01:33City, Pune, Thane, all are much much below the state averages of each state. We will

01:43be conducting a special meeting of the Municipal Commissioners and DOs within a week's time

01:52to appeal again to do whatever we can do to motivate the voters in the urban areas but

01:58the trends are really not good. If I show you the Lok Sabha, that was the Lok Sabha,

02:05if I show you legislative assemblies, see the lowest, Colaba was just 40%. 62 of 64

02:17urban ACs in Maharashtra were less than the state average in 2019. So was the case in

02:24the parliamentary elections 2024 also. And just to give you a contrast, if you compare,

02:34so what was the situation in Lok Sabha in Kalyan was 50%, Mumbai South 50%, Mumbai North,

02:40Thane, Pune, Mumbai South, everything 53%. And these were the lowest 6 parliamentary

02:48constituencies out of the lowest 10. So that's the state of the urban apathy. We would be

02:56doing everything to counter it. Last time in 24 elections, we had all celebrities, all

03:01corporates, Amul, everyone involved, we'll do it again. And we'll also at this point

03:08emphasize that this contrasts with a very positive trend in the constituencies like

03:15Doda 72%, Riyasi 74%, Poonch 74%, Rajouri 71%. If they can go 70+, Colaba can also go 40+.

03:28In 24 Lok Sabha elections, Bastar was 68%, 69%. Gachiroli, Manipur, states after state,

03:37tough areas. So we'll be requesting through you, we will have a special drive this time

03:43for the slum areas in urban areas and also the colonies, all alike, to have a real urban

03:56push. I do not want to name a specific thing, but there are booths in Faridabad and Gurgaon

04:08in the recently held elections. And they are the poshest places where voting has been

04:14around 20%. So again, we will be doing a lot of work on this to do whatever we can do to

04:24attract the urban voters. Now friends, coming to Jharkhand. Jharkhand ek bahuti samradd

04:33state hai. Bahuti uski virasat hai. Aur wahan par firse appeal karenge ki sab voters, adhik

04:41sadhik matra mein board ne. Schedule would be like this. Jharkhand would be in two phases.

04:47The date of poll, first phase would be on 13th November and the second phase would be

04:55along with Maharashtra on 20th November. So the date of issue of notification for Jharkhand

05:01phase 1 would be 18th and for phase 2 would be 22nd along with Maharashtra. Nominations

05:08for phase 1 would be till 25th October and for phase 2 29th. This slide we will share

05:15with everyone. And date of poll would be 13th November and 20th November, both Wednesdays.

05:23And date of counting would be 23rd November, that is Saturday. With this, we end our presentation

05:33with the request that through you, that all the voters of Jharkhand and Maharashtra, kripya

05:40bahar aayiye, kripya vote kariye. Lok Tantra ke ussam mein aapki vaagidhari ki hum bahut
