00:23by the Melaka Chinese Peranakan Association and supported by the Tourism, Arts and Culture

00:30Das Nupang Takbeli Segata is a heart-warming play about family portraying the vibrant traditions,
00:38exquisite cuisines, intricate textiles and unique language spoken by the Babas and Yonyas.
00:46The performance aims to highlight the iconic narratives of the Peranakan people, showcasing
00:53their resilience, love and cultural pride through dance, music and theatre, while helping
01:00to preserve our unique heritage for generations to come.
01:07The production features a talented local cast, who will take the audience on a journey through
01:12the rich tapestry of Peranakan heritage and culture.
