The Haven held a fundraising ball at the Mount Hotel.

The Mount Hotel in Tettenhall was the venue for The Haven's charity annual ball.

00:00So we're here at the Mount Hotel in Tecknall and rather a special night, introduce yourself madam.

00:05So I'm Mary Jane, I'm from the Haven Wolverhampton and tonight is our annual fundraising ball.

00:12The theme this year is Masquerade and it's a night bringing all of our partners and supporters together

00:18to celebrate the fight that we lead against violence against women and girls

00:24and to raise vital funds in supporting the women and children currently being supported within our service.

00:30Excellent and last year was a big marker wasn't it for the balls, was it the 10th one last year?

00:36Last year it was our 50th anniversary.

00:38Oh 50th, how many 40 out then?

00:41No it was our 50th anniversary year last year and that was a wonderful evening

00:47and we're hoping for a repeat of that this year.

00:50Have you held one of your balls here at the Mount before?

00:53We have, so the Mount are fantastic supporters for us, they do a lot with us,

00:59they are big advocates of the charity and yeah we couldn't have had a better venue for our ball tonight.
