00:14The President said this in a media interview on the sidelines of the 44th and 45th ASEAN Summits and Related Summits in Vientiane, Laos, People's Democratic Republic.
00:26According to President Marcos, the government's target is to send Filipinos back home as soon as possible and in any way.
00:34He also issued a directive to the shipowners to give notice not to sail near conflict areas.
00:42Lebanon remains on Alert Level 3 and according to the President,
00:47the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of the Philippines are conducting an assessment before changing the response level.
00:56We are now going back with our people by whatever means, by air or by sea.
01:02I asked to speak to all of the concerned agencies to know how we will send the Filipinos back to Lebanon.
01:17There are more than 400 now who want to be repatriated.
01:22So basically we're just putting the plans together, how we will bring them back home as quickly as possible.
