00:00In all, there are 26 billionaires on the Forbes 400 who are under 50, including two 30-somethings.

00:07The top 10 youngest listees are all aged 42 or under.

00:11Together, these 10 super-rich youngsters are worth $273 billion.

00:17Two-thirds of that sum comes from one young mogul alone, Mark Zuckerberg, who's worth

00:22an estimated $181 billion.

00:26The Facebook co-founder debuted on the list in 2008 at age 24.

00:30He's now 40, and, with shares of Facebook parent company Meta at all-time highs, richer

00:36than ever.

00:37The number of under-40 members on the list continues to dwindle, down from 4 last year

00:42and 10 in 2022.

00:44Some of the list's youngsters, like Zuckerberg and Moskovitz, are simply just getting older.

00:49Others, like Snap co-founders Evan Spiegel, 34, and Bobby Murphy, 36, have dropped from

00:55the ranks as their companies have languished.

00:58Then there are the flame-outs, like FTX's Sam Bagman-Free, 32, now broke and serving

01:03a 25-year prison sentence for fraud and conspiracy.

01:07With the minimum net worth to make the rankings skyrocketing to record heights, these wonderkids

01:11have been largely replaced by older billionaires, proving that keeping a spot on the Forbes

01:16400 might be every bit as hard as getting one in the first place.

01:20Here are the 5 youngest members of the 2024 Forbes 400.

01:25At number 5, Nathan Blacharzyk

01:29Blacharzyk is nearly two years younger than his Airbnb co-founders Brian Chesky and Joe

01:33Gebbia, who rank as the 12th and 13th youngest on the list.

01:38Currently the vacation rental company's chief strategy officer, Blacharzyk served

01:42as Airbnb's first engineer, coding its original website and pioneering the company's data

01:47science, payment, and marketing teams.

01:50He's also an active Airbnb user, he and his wife have hosted hundreds of guests.

01:56At number 4, Mark Zuckerberg

01:59Meta has rebounded in a big way from its 2022 nadir, including a 75% jump over the

02:06past 12 months.

02:07That has added $75 billion to Zuck's fortune, making him the third richest American.

02:13At number 3, Dustin Moskovitz

02:16Moskovitz helped launch Facebook with then-roommate Mark Zuckerberg, who is just 8 days older.

02:21Besides having a stake in Facebook parent company Meta, he also owns shares in Asana,

02:26the workflow software company he started after leaving Facebook in 2008.

02:31At number 2, Josh Kushner

02:34Kushner started VC firm Thrive Capital, which has an impressive track record of investing

02:38in tech startups, including Instagram, Spotify, and Slack.

02:43He's also heir to a real estate dynasty run by his father, Charles Kushner, and his brother

02:47Jared Kushner is married to Ivanka Trump and served as an advisor in the Donald Trump administration.

02:55And the youngest member of the Forbes 400, Lucas Walton

02:59The youngest member of the Forbes 400 hails from the richest family in America, the heirs

03:04of Walmart co-founder Sam Walton, who collectively owns half of the retailer's stock.

03:10Walton quietly inherited his wealth after his father, John Walton, died in a plane crash

03:14in 2005.

03:16Lucas, who survived childhood cancer and who does not work for Walmart, invests in businesses

03:21tackling environmental and social challenges, and chairs the Environmental Program Committee

03:26of the Walton Family Foundation.
