Tech that’s easy to use and simple to maintain

00:00Life is already difficult enough. So we what we try to do is make things simpler easier more comfortable for ourselves

00:09Again, this should be exactly the same with your tech

00:13We should basically make things as simple as possible and easy to use and easy to maintain

00:20So we don't have that friction

00:23We do with everything else in our lives because we all have friction with our lives doesn't matter who you are

00:31We basically have issues, right? So

00:34We want to get rid of those issues

00:36We want to fix those friction points and again the tech that you use should do the same

00:42So the tool and the software that you use should be easy to maintain

00:47in fact

00:49You shouldn't you shouldn't maintain it. You should maintain the data in it the the way you use it and how simple it is

00:59Putting data into him getting data out

01:01So for instance, if you've got a CRM that you have to push buttons all over the place

01:08Are you ever going to use that data to find anything?

01:11Probably not. I've come across this many times if you use a project management tool

01:17Are you pressing a lot of buttons to do the same thing?

01:21Why do you need loads of tags? Why do you need loads of?

01:26The features within it you don't use you don't need to use all those features like I said before

01:31So you're choosing the right tools as I've said in the past is very

01:36important, but the way you use the tools the kind of

01:41The way you manage the data in it is also important

01:45So making sure that the tools that you use and the tools that you have

01:50If you get rid of the friction as in it's

01:54Complicated get rid of the friction as in I don't have to maintain it then doing your work helping your clients

02:02Running your business. It's going to be a lot more simpler

02:05So again getting rid of that friction makes your life much easier. Just like as I said

02:12In our everyday lives, you know

02:15I have a comfortable couch in the office because I wanted to sit there sometimes so I make myself comfortable

02:20So I got the tool to be able to do that. I don't have to maintain it because it just sits there

02:27Is that a good example or a bad example? I'm not sure
