Nepalis fear more floods as climate change melts glaciers
It took just moments for freezing floodwaters to engulf the Himalayan village of Thame in Nepal's Everest region, a disaster that climate change scientists say is part of an ominous pattern.
The August 16 flood was caused by a glacial lake that burst high in the mountains above the small village, famous for its mountaineering residents.
