Lumpur, WTKL.

A statement by the Malaysian Armed Forces, ATM, on Friday says the person involved caused
00:32
a commotion in front of the WTKL guard station with family and friends.
00:38
WTKL is a hospitality complex primarily serving military personnel, civilian staff members
00:45
of the Defence Ministry and their families in transit.
00:48
It was understood that on Wednesday, WTKL denied the group's request to leave the premises
00:54
as they were only in Malaysia in transit.
00:56
They then entered the main lobby of WTKL, caused a commotion and went on a rampage by
01:02
breaking vases and damaging the decorations there.
01:05
One member of the group then allegedly threw a slipper at an officer.
01:09
ATM added that representatives of the Palestinian Embassy were also present and tried to stop
01:14
the commotion but were unsuccessful.
01:17
Defence Minister Datuk Shri Mohammed Khaled Nordin has appealed to the public to refrain
01:22
from blaming the entire Palestinian refugee community for the misdeeds of a few.
