00:02Yeah.

00:03They like Magic the most.

00:05That's a good one.

00:06Yeah.

00:07I'm sure they have dance parties around the house.

00:09They do.

00:10Yes, they do.

00:11It's funny because the one-man show is a little, like when I go out with a full band,

00:16it's just like a big party the whole time.

00:18And this one's a little more like back and forth between poetry and stories and then

00:21a crowd interaction.

00:22Yeah.

00:23And with the band, it's rare that my kids come out.

00:25Sometimes they do.

00:26But every once in a while, I'll just bring them out to like sing a song with me on stage.

00:29Yeah.

00:30But this didn't totally make sense that time.

00:33But my older daughter was like, uh, what are you talking about, dude?

00:34What about me?

00:35Like, I'm here.

00:36Let's like do this.

00:38Do you feel like they are catching the music vibe and they have the talent?

00:43They love to be around.

00:44Like anybody else, it's really fun from a young age to feel what it's like when a ton

00:48of people are singing at the same time.

00:51I can see them usually from the stage somewhere and just like taking in like, oh, this is

00:54what happens when we all sing together.

00:56Yeah.

00:57So they're really comprehending like what you do now, I would imagine.

01:04Is it weird for them to like have people come up to you and be like, can I take a picture

01:05with you?

01:06Yeah.

01:07And they're figuring out like, what is that?

01:08Right.

01:09That's like strange.

01:10It's strange.

01:11You know?

01:12They've had it before where like my song will come on out in the world and they'll be like,

01:15you can see them like quizzically kind of going, what is this?

01:18What's going on right now?

01:19What did I come into here, dude?

01:20Is this good or bad?

01:21Yeah.

01:23Because when we're out on tour and we're just like walking through a town and then people

01:27come up and want to say hi and like, and now I can't totally be with them fully.

01:31It's still really sweet, but sometimes they're like, this sucks.

01:33And then other times where we get to go do other things, it's great.

01:36But it's like, it's a thing, whatever it is.

01:38Yeah.

01:39Are you your daughter's favorite artist?

01:40Or no.

01:41No.

01:43They do like my music.

01:44Okay.

01:45My oldest daughter is Taylor Swift.

01:48Yeah.

01:49My four-year-old is kind of like whatever's on.

01:54But she likes a lot of stuff.

01:55Right now it's the song that never ends.

02:11And then we watched it on TV.

02:13We watch it on repeat as well.

02:14Because I've sang now twice with Taylor.

02:16And so my daughter doesn't know how to handle that either.

02:20It's just funny to watch them like kind of like slowly figure out like what are you talking

02:24Like in my studio I have a bunch of stuff up all over the place.

02:28Like singing at the Soldier Field in Chicago and she just is like, what are you talking
