00:38after that movie, I was like,

00:40oh my God, anything else that I do

00:42will forever be second to being a guest.

00:44You know, I go out

00:46sometimes.

00:48A few months ago, I was in Australia

00:50and I saw someone and I was like,

00:52Raymond Ochenko, why?

00:54And they do this.

00:56And so I do this also.

00:58You know, those two guys are my idols.

01:00Martin is the concert king

01:02and Gary as well, he's like the ultimate performer.

01:04I really look up to these guys

01:06very, very much.

01:08But, you know, we're all different from each other.

01:10One of the things that I admire most about

01:12Martin and Gary is that they saw the goal,

01:14they saw the destination,

01:16and they went straight for it.

01:18I had this creative restlessness in me

01:20that I saw the destination

01:22but the journey was just as important.

01:24So if I was going down the highway,

01:26I'd see something interesting on the right,

01:28professional photography,

01:30I would stop.

01:32I saw directing,

01:34I stopped for years because it takes time

01:36to get good at these things.

01:38I stopped during the pandemic because

01:40everything stopped for all of us.

01:44I directed over five different events.

01:46I had a studio.

01:48I became a sculptor.

01:50Are you happy?

01:52Oh yes.

01:54I wish I had more time for all of my dreams.

01:56But, you know, life is short

01:58so you gotta choose the dreams.

02:02Well, now I'm pretty much satisfied.

02:04I can say I've achieved

02:06or I've dabbled into the major dreams.

02:08I can't achieve them all

02:10because there's little time.

02:12So now I want to concentrate on singing.

02:14I think it's time to go back.

02:16Time to say thank you to the audiences

02:18who have supported me

02:20for the last four years.

02:22I asked,

02:24when is the recording? The next day.

02:26I was like, oh my god, the next day, how am I gonna learn this?

02:28So I cut class,

02:30which is not advisable.

02:32I went to the studio early to try and learn it.

02:34And I introduced myself.

02:36I said, Mr. Canseco, I'm Raymond.

02:38I will be singing your song today.

02:40He goes, oh, are you Raymond?

02:42You can sit on the sofa because I'm writing you.

02:46You also had no inkling at all

02:48that this was going to be a wedding song.

02:50No, no idea.

02:52It was like a farewell.

02:54I had no idea that it would resonate so much

02:56and that every school would use it for graduation.

03:00What's beautiful about this is that the song evolved

03:02from something

03:04that talked about first love.

03:06I now sing it to people who have been married
