Ukraine's Zelenskyy ramps up efforts to secure military investments and humanitarian aid

Ukrainian President met with several entities on Wednesday to discuss strengthening Ukraine's defence, as well as securing aid in preparation for the winter.

00:08He met with the leaders of the world's top defense companies on Wednesday at the Second

00:12International Defense Industries Forum.

00:15They discussed expanding cooperation to strengthen the Ukrainian defense sector.

00:21Zelensky also met with the Administrator of the United States Agency for International

00:25Development Samantha Power, stressing the importance of U.S. support going into winter.

00:31They discussed the implementation of projects aimed at strengthening Ukraine's energy grid,

00:36restoring critical infrastructure, enhancing air defense and building school shelters,

00:41which Zelensky mentioned in his nightly address.

00:58Zelensky also spoke of the need to shoot down Shahed drones in Ukraine.

01:03He said that Russia launched an attack Tuesday evening on his country with Shahed drones

01:08that reportedly targeted civilian infrastructure.
