00:00You know, I'm an ideal man.

00:22I spend a lot of time thinking.

00:28Thoughts are funny things.

00:30Sometimes they're so aimless, like when I daydream.

00:38Other times, they can lead to ideas.

00:46There's one now.

00:47Now, when you get an idea, you have to look at it from every direction.

00:53Well, that one wasn't any good, but I'll have another one in a minute.

01:00There's one.

01:01It's just a little idea, but I forgot it already.

01:10I guess you know, many of the good ideas have already been taken.

01:17Ideas like the zipper, the hula hoop, television, relativity, the safety pin, the sewing machine,

01:35atomic energy, polyunsaturated fat, cellophane.

01:42All those ideas have already been done, and lots more, too.

01:55I guess most of the best ideas are all used up already.

02:03Sometimes I worry about that, but then along comes a new, fresh idea, and this gives you

02:12other ideas, which gives birth to other ideas, and maybe all these ideas gradually begin

02:21to intermingle, and finally, the whole thing crystallizes into one gloriously marvelous,

02:28great, big, beautiful idea.

02:33And so you say to the world, I have a gloriously marvelous, great, big, beautiful idea, and

02:41the world says, that idea won't work.

02:48Oh, well, it doesn't matter.

02:58Maybe I'll get another idea next week.
